Sherlock Holmes Returns to BPL vis-a-vis William Gillette!

On Saturday, September 10 @ 1:00 PM The Bristol Public Library, 5 High Street, Bristol, CT,  hosts The East Haddam Stage Company presentation of

Sherlock Holmes and the Adventure of the Speckled Band, a live reconstructed ‘radio’ show using the re-discovered 1930 script that William Gillette used for the very first radio broadcast of a Sherlock Holmes story.   Four actors portray 7 characters and produce the sound effects for this “Old-Time” radio play.  Followed by a retrospective on CT’s William Gillette as Sherlock Holmes and Q & A. No Charge.
