Summer Reading 2024

The 2024 Summer Reading Program in the Children’s Department at the Bristol Public Library begins Monday, June 17, 2024 and continues for EIGHT (8) weeks through FRIDAY, AUGUST 9, 2024!  Join us for LOTS OF FUN!

What programs are offered in summer?
The summer is FULL of FUN EVENTS for children of all ages.  Join us for stories, reading clubs, special programs, music, animals, and much more!

How do I register for Summer Reading 2024?
Registration opens JUNE 17, 2024!  You may register IN PERSON or ONLINE. 

• To register in person, stop by the library starting June 17th to sign up and get a reading calendar.
• To register online, visit our ReadSquared website starting June 17. Click here to learn how to create a new ReadSquared account.

How do I track my reading?
You can track your reading on the paper calendar in your registration bag or use ReadSquared to track your reading virtually.  Log each day you read 20 minutes or more. You can also earn bonus points by attending programs, visiting the library to spin the big wheel, doing reading challenges, and eating FREE LUNCH at the library.
