This week is the Bristol Public Library Census Week of Action! Please feel free to share this post to encourage others to get involved!
You can help by participating in the Call Those Who Count On You campaign. Here’s how it works:
• Call at least five of your friends, family or neighbors to see how they are doing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Ask them if they have had the chance to fill out their Census questionnaire yet.
• If not, explain to them that completing the Census is safe, easy and important, and you can do it all from the comforts of your home. By being counted, they can help Connecticut (Bristol) receive our portion of the billions in federal funding to support programs and services we use every day like child care and schools.
• Tell them they can fill it out online at 2020Census.gov, over the phone at 844-330-2020 or by mail.
• Before you end your call, ask them to then call five people to check in and also ask about the Census. It’s that easy!
