Bristol History Room Special Exhibit: Babylonian (cuneiform) writings on 4,000 year-old clay tablets. The tablets were acquired for the Bristol Public Library in the 1920’s by long-time Director, Mr. Charles Wooding. This will be the first public exhibit of these ancient tablets in recent times. Translated by Elizabeth E. Payne, former Conservator, Babylonian Collection, Yale University. No Charge.

The “More Mason Jars” Craft & Crunch program at the Manross Memorial Library will now take place on Saturday, January 21st. The time of the program is still 11:00 – 12:00. Sunday Hours at the Bristol Public Library
The Bristol Public Library, located at 5 High Street, in Bristol, CT, will be open Sundays, beginning Sunday, January 8, 2017 through Sunday, March 26, 2017, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM. The library collection includes adult and children’s books, magazines, audio books, E-books, DVDs, CDs and downloadable materials.
