Manross Memorial Library and Bristol Public Library are proud to present a new veteran-friendly program: A chance to meet author and Marine RECON veteran Craig Grossi and Fred the Dog rescued by Craig in Afghanistan. All ages are welcome! Local veterans from the Forestville American Legion Post 209 will also be on-hand to share some of their own experiences. Followed by Q & A and book signing. For earlier in the day, the Bristol Public Library Children’s Staff has put together a “Day with the Dogs” drop-in program for kids and families. The program consists of story times, crafts, giveaways, photo opportunities with Clifford the Big Red Dog and more family friendly activities.
