The Friends of the Bristol Public Library 2022 Author Luncheon, with two-time Pulitzer-prize winning author Colson Whitehead, provided an opportunity to experience community and the healing power of books during a time of mourning and grief in our community. Thank you to Mayor Caggiano for leading a moment of silence to honor our fallen heroes and for his words of encouragement for the community and recognition of the dedication of the library staff in serving our community. The event was well received and the DoubleTree proved, once again, to be an outstanding venue. Thank you DoubleTree Staff, Friends’ Volunteers and all who made the event a success!
