What do I need to get a Bristol Library Card?

In order to obtain a Bristol Library card, you MUST have one of the following forms of identification that has your CURRENT Bristol Address:

 

 


Adult Bristol Residents (18 years or older)

  • Connecticut Driver’s License with current Bristol address
  • Automobile Registration
  • Utility Bill (no older than one month)
  • Lease Agreement
  • State of CT Identification Card (looks like a driver’s license)

Bristol students who are either in high school or are at least 14 years old may use one of the following:

  • School ID
  • Report Card
  • School Schedule
  • Parent’s License
  • Parent’s Library Card
  • Connecticut Driver’s License with current Bristol address
  • State of CT Identification Card (which looks like a driver’s license)

Bristol children Under 14:

  • A parent’s or guardian’s signature with acceptable form of adult ID

Other CT residents:

  • A valid library card from your home town or city public library along with either a CT Driver’s License or a State of CT Identification Card (which looks like a driver’s license)


Para obtener una tarjeta la biblioteca es necesario que dispongas de la siguientes formam de identificacio que tenga su DIRECCION ACTUAL de Bristol.

Los Adultos:

  • Licencia de conducir de Connecticut
  • El registro del automovil
  • Factura de servicios publicos (de no mas de un mes)
  • Contracto de arrendamiento
  • Tarjeta de Identificacion del Estado de Connecticut (se parece a un licencia de conducir)

Lost Card? Report a lost card immediately. You are responsible for all items borrowed on an unreported lost card.
 

You may use your valid public library card at any public library in Connecticut*.
If your library is not one of the CONNECT libraries, you will also need either your Connecticut Driver’s License or your State of CT Identification Card (which looks like a license).
