Relive the 1940s @ BPL in August!

Rescheduled from January, the program will recall growing up in the time when radio held center stage and the big band sound dominated music.  Also, see what amazing things can be learned from the 1940 Census, and how World War II changed everything.  There is no charge for this event.  Please RSVP.

UK Mini-Invasion @ the Library Coffee House in September!

Thanks to a grant by the Bristol Brass General Grant Fund, the Gnazzo/Reidy Charitable Fund and the Elizabeth Tyrell Fund for the Arts at the Main Street Community Foundation,  The Library Coffee House Series starts off this fall with a blast from the UK with folk-jazz fusion

Fun & Creative Opportunity for Crafters!

Master Scrapbook Artist Gail Straun  is hosting a make and take workshop  on Thursday, July 23 @ 6:00 PM at Bristol Public Library, 5 High Street, in Bristol, CT.  Gail will show how to make a beautiful mini-album for photos, Journaling, etc, from an empty Altoids mint box using Graphic 45 Tea Papers & embellishments.  Ages 18 & up only.  There is an $8.00 materials fee for this program, payable upon arrival.  Limited to 10 spots.  For more information, or to register, please visit the library or call (860) 584-7787 x 2023.

Doctor Who: 50 Years in 100 Minutes!

Calling all Whovians!  The Doctor will be returning to Bristol Public Library, 5 High Street, on July 7th @  6:30 PM.
