The Friends of Bristol Public Library has announced the hours for the Annual Friends’ Used Book Sale at Bristol Public Library. The book sale hours will be as follows:
Wednesday, February 25, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Preview Sale–$5.00 admission)
Thursday, February 26, 9:00 AM — 7:00 PM
Friday, February 27, 9:00 AM — 4:00 PM
Saturday, February 28, 9:00 AM — 4:00 PM
Sunday, March 1, 1:00 PM — 3:00 PM ($5.00 Bag Sale).
The book sale offers used hard & soft cover books, CDs, audio books & movies and is located on the lower level at Bristol Public Library, 5 High Street, in Bristol. All proceeds benefit our Bristol libraries. For informaton visit BPL or call: (860) 584-7787 x 2023.

Matthew Bartlett (author of The Gettysburg Chronicle) and Jenn Bartlett will present For the Sake of the Country: Female Spies During the Civil War at Bristol Public Library, 5 High Street, Bristol, CT, on Saturday, March 14 at 2:00 PM. The program tells the stories of 4 women spies (2 Union and 2 Confederate) who risked all for the sake of their country. There will also be a reenactment of an encounter between a Pinkerton agent and one of the spies mentioned in the program. No Charge. Please Register at BPL or call: (860) 584-7787 x 2023. This is a weekly email alert that showcases the library’s newest items from every department including Manross Library.
