Afternoon Movie @ BPL: Mary Silliman’s War

On Thursday, May 28 @ 1:00 PM, the Bristol Public Library, 5 High Street, Bristol, CT, will present the movie Mary Silliman’s War, based on the true story of Connecticut Revolutionary heroine Mary F. Silliman’s quest to rescue her captive husband, General G. S. Library Coffee House: Rick Laban

New Authors added to Author’s Fair

Five more Connecticut authors have signed on the The Author’s Next Door Author’s Fair, to Be held at Bristol Public Library on April 15th 7:00 PM–9:00 PM. The newest writers to sign on are Steven Bachleda, Roberta Dolan Cindy Eastman, Glenn Bryant Havumaki and Kourtney Heinz!  Welcome! They will be joining thirteen other local authors for book talks, readings, refreshments, meeting, greeting, book signings and even  some live music!  Come join us for an entertaining  evening!

April Coffee House: Sheri Miller

As part  of the BPL Coffee House series,NYC singer/songwriter Sheri Miller will be performing a concert at Bristol Public Library, 5 High Street, in Bristol, CT, on Saturday, April 18, @ 2:00 PM.   Sheri has been named one of Music Connection’s “Hot 100 Unsigned Artists.” Her album Mantra featured two popular songs, “Right Here, Right Now,” and “All He Has To Do,” which have become wedding favorites.  Sheri was a member of The Delilahs, produced by Marcus Hummon (Dixie Chicks, Rascall Flatts).  Sheri has co-written songs with Grammy-Award winning songwriters J.D.
